The Science Behind Lipofirm Pro
How does it work?
The triple action of TriLipo technology consists of RF (radio frequency) deep volumetric heating, combined with internal muscle contraction and external mechanical force. Together they give maximum fat removal and lymphatic drainage as well as skin tightening (contouring) and cellulite reduction.
The RF (radio frequency) energy generates heat through tissue resistance in both the dermal and subcutaneous layers. Selective and focused electro-heating of the skin stimulates and increases fat metabolism in the subcutaneous fat layer and collagen remodelling in the dermal layer. In the subcutaneous fat layer, the thermal effect accelerates the natural fat metabolism process and the release of liquid fat from the fat cells
The TriLipo triple action effect is visible from your first treatment and long term body shaping can be achieved in a minimal number of treatments.
What is the difference between Lipofirm Pro and other Radio Frequency Skin Tightening machines?
The aesthetics industry is all about technological advancements, this is showcased very well with the Lipofirm PRO. There are only 2 machines that use ‘Tri Polar’ RF technology, this one (the Pro) and the Endymed machine. At the time of writing this (spring 2023) all other machines use the previous RF technology called ‘Bi Polar’ and before this it was called ‘Mono Polar’. You can liken this to technology in televisions for example, ‘Mono Polar’ was a box circa 2000 TV and the ‘Tri Polar’ is a 4K plasma. Like everything technology lead, there will be further progressions and innovations with this but for now this is where we are.
Now, beyond the Radio Frequency, which is the skin tightening element to the procedure there is also the DMA (dynamic muscle activation). This part of the treatment works to contract and squeeze through the dermis and subcutaneous fat layer down to the contractile proteins in muscle tissue. The purpose of this isn’t to ‘build muscle’ but more to work on cellulite reduction and subtle fat reduction.
Ultimately it is the combination of these 2 elements both the ‘Tri Polar Radio Frequency’ and the DMA working together which gives the versatility of use that it is known for. As it stands now, nothing will do Cellulite reduction and Skin tightening (both face and body) better that the Lipofirm Pro can. In a few years this will change but for now this is the one.
