Being 2021 there are now non-invasive solutions that provide a platform of regenerative results driven procedures. The most common procedures that you will come across work on either the skin or the muscle. For the best outcome and the most prolonged results window, it is both that will need attention.

We are in a fortunate position in that we have a multitude of different treatment technologies across a varying array of different platforms. Facial skin tightening and lifting is an area where we can incorporate these differing applications in a very bespoke way.

This process consists of deep volumetric heating through tissue resistance in both the dermal and subcutaneous layers. Selective and focused electro-heating of the skin stimulates collagen remodelling in the dermal layer and increases fat metabolism in the subcutaneous fat layer. The term ‘Tripolar’ refers to the evolution of radio frequency technology being used, originally it was Monopolar and then until a couple years ago it was Bipolar and now we have Tripolar (Quad is due around 2023/24).

DMA works in sync with the Tripolar RF creating a process called TriLipo (patented by Pollagen). Once the thermal effect of RF has taken the DMA works by applying internal and external pressure to the contractile proteins within the muscle tissue, causing the fibres to contract. This contraction elevates the muscle and generates lifting and toning to a much greater depth than a more traditional beauty treatment like CACI for example. Lipofirm Pro is the first Aesthetic treatment device that works on the skin and the muscle at the same time and in perfect sync for maximum effect and results.

This treatment uses electroporation to increase the absorbency of the cell for production penetration. This in turn, revitalises and ‘wakes up’ dull and lifeless skin.

Radio wave therapy works by generating an electric field for entering into the subcutaneous tissue through the skin surface. At a frequency of 450kHz the electric field can change its polarity to 450,000 times per second causing a rapid change to the cells in the dermal layer of the skin. The result of this radio wave energy means the renewal of elastin through controlled trauma. The process works in a relatively similar way to RF, though the applicator head is a very specific shape to suit a varied range of facial contours therefore giving quicker results due to a more focused coverage. This treatment is particularly good for the more delicate areas which are usually hard to reach.
